RESOURCES
There are many clear dangers and mounting challenges facing the changing beach coastlines of The Maritime provinces. These include rising seas and climate change, lack of clear governmental oversight and policies, the absence of public terms of use and garbage receptacles, and human encroachments, to name a few.
Fortunately, there is incredible goodwill for these environments, and many agencies, concerned groups and good individuals continue to monitor, examine, and work towards improving our understanding and protecting our beaches and coastlines.
There is also a plethora of websites and swim guides to help direct us safely to the east's beaches.
